Plan: Creator, Pro, and Riverside for Business
Device: Computer Browser

You can download transcriptions from Riverside in two formats: as a TXT plain text file, or as an SRT subtitle file with timestamps every few seconds.

To see timestamps marked whenever a new participant begins speaking, follow the steps below.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Under Studios, click the relevant Studio.
  3. Click the relevant recording.
  4. On the recording session's page, scroll to Recording files.
  1. To the right of transcript_icon_bk.svg Transcript, click copy-transcript.svg Copy.
The recording's full transcript is copied to your computer's clipboard.

After pasting it into a text editor, the copied transcription format looks like this:

To see more frequent timestamps, open the recording in the Editor. You can also download and open the SRT subtitles file in a program like TextEdit (Mac) or WordPad (Windows).
