Live stream your Riverside recording session to a scheduled LinkedIn post by setting up a custom RTMP stream with Riverside. You can also immediately live stream to LinkedIn.

To live stream to LinkedIn, you must:
- Ensure that the LinkedIn profile or page has over 150 followers and/or connections.
- Have an account that is at least 30 days old.
- Be in a supported location.

Step by step
- Using a computer, sign in to your LinkedIn account.
- Go to the LinkedIn Live page ⇱.
- Under New Stream, select Schedule for later.
LinkedIn only generates the Stream Key and Stream URL one hour before the scheduled start time. - Enter the desired time for the live stream.
- Under Create a post, enter a description and title.
- In the upper right corner, click Schedule stream.
LinkedIn shares the event post with your network. - One hour before the event's scheduled time, go to the Manage streams page.
- Next to the live stream event, click Prepare to go live.
- Under the Stream settings tab, pick a nearby region.
- Click Get URL.
- Copy the Stream Key.
- On Riverside, open the Custom RTMP live stream settings.
- In the Stream Key field, paste the Stream Key.
- On LinkedIn, copy the Stream URL.
- On Riverside, in the Stream URL field, paste the Stream URL.
- Click Add.
- When it's time for the event, click Go live to start the live stream.
- Check the LinkedIn Live page for the Preview of the video stream.
- In the top right corner of LinkedIn, click Go live to start the Live Video event.
It may take about 30 seconds for the video to appear on LinkedIn.
You can only stream to one LinkedIn account or page at a time, per LinkedIn's policy.
