How do I create a clip for social media?

Step by step

1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.

3. At the top of the Editor, click the aspect ratio icon.
4. In the panel, choose your aspect ratio.
   • Widescreen 16:9 (e.g. for sharing to Spotify, Vimeo, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook posts)
   • Vertical 9:16 (e.g. for Instagram Stories and Reels, Tiktok, and YouTube Shorts)
   • Square 1:1 (e.g. for Facebook Feed, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram posts)
5. Edit the recording.
6. Export the recording.
7. Publish your recording to social media.
   • If your desired social media platform isn't listed, download the clip and upload the file to the social media platform.
