Where can I find the Riverside Studio MacOS app's ID number for Support?

When you install the Riverside Studio app on your computer, it generates a unique app ID number that can help Riverside's Support team investigate any technical issues. Follow the steps below to find the App ID and copy it to your clipboard.

NOTE:
The App ID is a string of numbers and letters that looks like AF0118999-8819-9119-7245-3CBC807932F1. If you install the mobile app, it has a different App ID.

Step by step

1. On your computer, open the  Riverside Studio app.
2. In the menu bar at the top of the computer screen, click Riverside Studio.
   
3. Click About Riverside Studio.
4. In the pop-up, click Copy ID number.
5. Click Ok.
6. Paste the ID number into your chat with Support.
   Please also send the version of the app (for example, Version 1.4.2).
   
   

   TIP:
   To paste the ID number, press ⌘+V on your keyboard. Or hold the ctrl key and click a text field, then select Paste.

If the Riverside Studio app crashes, please also send us a text file with the contents of the Problem report pop-up created by MacOS.
