Live stream your Riverside recording session as a Live Video Event on Facebook and invite viewers ahead of time. You can also live stream to your Facebook profile, Facebook group, or Facebook page.

To live stream to a Facebook group, you must have:
- A Facebook account that is at least 60 days old.
- At least 100 followers, if it's a professional account.

Step by step

Log in to Facebook.
To stream to Facebook, your Facebook account must be at least 60 days old. - Go to the Facebook homepage.
- Under What's on your mind?, click Live video.
- In the panel on the left, click Choose where to post, either Post on timeline, Post to Page you manage, or Post in group.
- On the right of the page, at the bottom of the Create live video event panel, click Create event.
- On the Create event page, in the panel on the left, enter the details about the event.
- Click Next.
- Add any additional details or settings for your event.
- Click Create event.
- In the pop-up, click Set up live video.
- In the middle of the page, under Select a Video Source, click Streaming software.
- Under to Stream key, click Copy.
- On Riverside, open the Custom RTMP live stream settings.
- In the Stream Key field, paste the Stream Key.
- On Facebook, under Stream key, click Advanced Settings.
- Under to Server URL, click Copy.
- On Riverside, in the Stream URL field, paste the Stream URL.
- Click Add.
- On Facebook, on bottom-left of the page, click Save changes.
View your event on Facebook by clicking Your Events. - When it's time for the event, click Go live to start the live stream.
- On Facebook, preview the video at the bottom of the Create live video page.
- Click Go live now to make the video feed visible to attendees on the Event page.
It may take around 30 seconds for the video to appear on Facebook.
