Share Control During a Presentation

Who: Host, Guests, and Producers
Plan: Riverside for Business
Device: Computer Browser

In a Riverside Studio, two participants can control a shared presentation at the same time. This way, you can speak about the content being presented while someone else advances the slides from their computer.

Follow the steps below to give another participant control of the slides during a presentation.

NOTE:
When a participant is sharing their screen, rather than a presentation deck file as below, they are the only person who can control it.

Step by step:

  1. Using a computer, log in to your Riverside account and join a Studio.
Or join a Studio as an invited Producer or Guest.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, click share-box.png Share to upload a presentation.
  3. Click the presentation's thumbnail.
The presentation's first slide expands to be the largest frame in the Studio.
  4. In the top-right corner of the presentation frame, click +.
  5. Click cursor-click_black.svg Give Control.
  6. On the Switch controller menu, click a participant to add them as the other slide controller.
    NOTE:
The participant must be using a computer.
  7. To change who else has control, click the three dots menu […], choose cursor-click_black.svg Switch controller, then select another participant.
