« to Invite your participants: Overview
Use Riverside to create a live webinar by having up to 1,000 people watch the live recording as audience members.

Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account on a web browser or the MacOS app.
- In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the studio, and click the ••• [the three dots].
- Click Invite to record/Invite to studio.
- In the Invite People pop-up under Share a link, select Audience.
- Click Copy link.
- Distribute the audience invite link however you want. For example:
- Paste the link in a scheduled calendar event or email.
- Share the link on an event registration page on the platform you're using to invite people, such as Eventbrite, LinkedIn, or Facebook.
- Use a Google Form to collect registrations and distribute the link.
- Enable audience registration to require audience members to input their name and email before entering the studio so you retrieve a list of all of the people who came to the session (optional).
- Before the recording, turn on the public audience link so audience members can enter the studio to watch the live stream.
- Click Go live to start the live stream.
Audience members can watch the live stream from their computer on Chrome or Edge. They can also join using Safari and the mobile app, but live call-ins are not supported on these channels.
Once the recording begins, the audience sees the host and guests in the studio.
No one can see the audience members' videos. However, the host, producers, and audience members can see the total number of audience members in the studio.
Audience members can participate in the live chat and request to join the live recording.
