In addition to the social media platforms you can connect to Riverside, you can also live stream your Riverside recording session to any site that supports RTMP (or RTMPS) and provides a Stream URL and Stream Key.
Please note that Riverside cannot receive an RTMP signal and then redistribute it.

Please note that Riverside cannot stream to the below platforms. Workarounds are included when applicable:
- Spotify for Podcasters - Stream from Riverside to Spotify instead. Log in to Riverside using your Spotify for Podcasters credentials (either username and password, Google, Apple ID, or Spotify account). Then, set-up your live stream and go live!
- X Spaces - Live stream to your X account as a tweet.
- Telegram - Share a link on Telegram to a your live stream happening on another platform.
- Discord - Use share your screen to display your Riverside Studio on Discord.

As many as you'd like!

Yes. You can schedule a live stream to any site that supports scheduled streams by using RTMP.

You can run a test live stream only if your destination platform allows you to stream privately.

How does RTMP streaming work?
RTMP works by breaking up the video and audio data into smaller chunks and sending these chunks out to servers, then eventually viewers.

Yes, you can set the studio to audio-only to live stream only your audio and not video.

Can I play an intro video live to my audience when I live stream?
Yes, you can do so by uploading the intro file into the media board and then playing it when you click Go live.

The Host and Guests appear in the live stream. Their videos are arranged right-to-left in a gallery view as they join the Studio.

Hosts and Producers can control who is currently live in the studio and who is backstage by hiding or showing participants.

It can take around 30 seconds.

Riverside does not have a maximum duration for live streaming, but the site you stream to may have a limit for the total time.

No. However, viewers can enable captions for themselves through their browser settings.
