Live stream your Riverside recording session to TikTok to reach a broader audience.
To live stream to TikTok, you must:
- Have 1,000 followers.
- Use the desktop TikTok Live Studio. Please note that this is only available for Windows.
Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the Studio, and click ••• [the three dots].
- Click Go to Studio.
- On the Lobby page, enter your details and click Join Studio.
- At the top of the Studio, click Live Stream off.
- Under Stream to social, click ••• [the three dots].
- Click the TikTok icon.
- Open TikTok on your computer.
- In the top-right corner, click to open the account menu.
- On the menu, click LIVE Studio.
Please note that this is only available for Windows. - On the left of the LIVE Studio page, click LIVE Room.
- On the right, under LIVE Info, click Edit and select a topic.
- Click Save.
- Under Stream Setting, adjust TikTok-specific settings as needed.
- At the bottom, click Go LIVE.
- Copy the Stream URL.
- In the Riverside Studio, in the Stream URL field, paste the Stream URL.
- On TikTok, copy the Steam Key.
- In the Riverside Studio, in the Stream Key field, paste the Stream Key.
- Click Add.
- Click Go live to start the live stream feed.
It may take around 30 seconds for the video to appear on TikTok.
Please note that live video on TikTok uses a 9:16 ('portrait') frame, so some of your participants on Riverside may be cropped from the video.
