Live stream your Riverside recording session to TikTok to reach a broader audience. 

Please note:

We are gradually releasing updates to live stream features. If you see Status=Disabled, Hover=Yes (1).png at the top of your studio, scroll to the bottom of the article for the beta version steps.

Step by step

  1. Open TikTok on your computer.
  2. In the top-right corner, click to open the account menu.
  3. On the menu, click LIVE Center.
    Please note that some TikTok users do not have access to TikTok's live stream settings.
  4. On the left of the LIVE Center page, click LIVE Room.
  5. On the right, under LIVE Info click Edit and select a topic.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Under Stream Setting, adjust TikTok-specific settings as needed.
  8. At the bottom, click Go LIVE.
  9. Copy and paste the stream key and stream URL to add your Riverside Studio's settings.
  10. Start the recording on Riverside to send a video feed to TikTok.

Please note that live video on TikTok uses a 9:16 ('portrait') frame, so some of your participants on Riverside may be cropped from the video.

 

Step by step - beta version

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the Studio, and click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click Go to Studio.
  4. On the Lobby page, enter your details and click Join Studio.
  1. At the top of the Studio, click Live Stream off.
  2. Under Stream to social, click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click the TikTok icon.

  4. Open TikTok on your computer.
  5. In the top-right corner, click to open the account menu.
  6. On the menu, click LIVE Center.
    Please note that some TikTok users do not have access to TikTok's live stream settings.
  7. On the left of the LIVE Center page, click LIVE Room.
  8. On the right, under LIVE Info, click Edit and select a topic.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Under Stream Setting, adjust TikTok-specific settings as needed.
  11. At the bottom, click Go LIVE.
  12. Copy the Stream URL.
  13. In the Riverside Studio, in the Stream URL field, paste the Stream URL.

  14. On TikTok, copy the Steam Key.
  15. In the Riverside Studio, in the Stream Key field, paste the Stream Key.
  16. Click Add.
  17. Click Go live to start the live stream feed.

Please note that live video on TikTok uses a 9:16 ('portrait') frame, so some of your participants on Riverside may be cropped from the video.
