Live stream your Riverside recording session to TikTok to reach a broader audience.

To live stream to TikTok, you must:

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the Studio, and click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click Go to Studio.
  4. On the Lobby page, enter your details and click Join Studio.
  1. At the top of the Studio, click Live Stream off.
  2. Under Stream to social, click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click the TikTok icon.

  4. Open TikTok on your computer.
  5. In the top-right corner, click to open the account menu.
  6. On the menu, click LIVE Studio.
    Please note that this is only available for Windows.
  7. On the left of the LIVE Studio page, click LIVE Room.
  8. On the right, under LIVE Info, click Edit and select a topic.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Under Stream Setting, adjust TikTok-specific settings as needed.
  11. At the bottom, click Go LIVE.
  12. Copy the Stream URL.
  13. In the Riverside Studio, in the Stream URL field, paste the Stream URL.

  14. On TikTok, copy the Steam Key.
  15. In the Riverside Studio, in the Stream Key field, paste the Stream Key.
  16. Click Add.
  17. Click Go live to start the live stream feed.
    It may take around 30 seconds for the video to appear on TikTok.

Please note that live video on TikTok uses a 9:16 ('portrait') frame, so some of your participants on Riverside may be cropped from the video.
