Editor is stuck or clip "Export failed"

Troubleshooting for:

  • Editor is stuck
  • Clip status is "Export failed"

If you encounter an issue when arranging tracks, trimming the timeline, or exporting clips from the Editor, the steps below may be able to fix it.

Suggested Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Remove your customizations to reset the clip:
    1. Click the Tracks tracks-fka-users.svg icon and select the check box next to each participant's track to temporarily remove it.
    2. Click the Layout layout-icon_lg.png icon and select the standard Grid.
    3. Click the Background background-image-icon_lg.png icon and click cancel.svg to remove any custom background.
  2. Re-add your customizations to the clip:
    1. Click the Tracks tracks-fka-users.svg icon and select the check box next to each participant's track to add it.
    2. Click the Layout layout-icon_lg.png icon and select your preferred layout. 
    3. Click the Background background-image-icon_lg.png icon and select your preferred background.
  3. Export the clip.
