- Seeing the message
An error occurred: StartingBroadcast
orAn error occurred: ArchiveBroadcast
- Unable to record
- Unable to start a live stream from the Studio
General troubleshooting steps
- Refresh the page.
- Join a different Studio (or create a new one) and check if the error appears there.
Troubleshooting if the Studio is set up for live streaming
- The Host or Producer should update the Studio's settings to add correct live stream URL or Key information:
- Join the Studio using a computer.
- Click (Settings icon) to access the Studio's settings.
- In Settings, click Live Stream, then continue below.
If you do not plan to live stream during this recording:
- Click the toggle next to any live stream service that is on and turn it off .
- Close the Settings window.
- Click Record to start a new recording.
If you do plan to live stream during this recording:
- Look for any live stream services that are on .
- For each service, check that the Stream URL and Stream Key fields have the correct information.
- Add new Stream URL and Stream Key information from the other platform/s.
- Close the Settings window.
- Click Record to start a new recording.
