In the Studio, leave your microphone muted to limit background noise. Unmute temporarily when you want to speak or ask a question.
Step by step:
- Join the Studio using a web browser.
- At the bottom of the Studio page, click mic
to mute the microphone. - Hold down the spacebar on the keyboard to temporarily turn the microphone on.
- Release spacebar to mute the microphone again.
NOTE:
If you move to a different program, browser window, or tab, you must first click back to the Riverside Studio before using the keyboard shortcut. Picture-in-Picture mode's Back to Tab button can return you to the Studio quickly.
