Does Riverside record participant audio in stereo or mono?

Riverside records each participant's audio in mono, as a single sound channel.

NOTE:
If you add a file that has stereo sound to the Media Board, you can play it in stereo in the Studio. However, the Media Board track you can download afterward will be mono.
