Select Mic and Camera Inputs in Lobby

Before joining a studio to record, participants select their camera, mic, and audio output.

Step by step

1. Using a computer, click Join Session in a studio invite email or click a studio access link.
2. In the Lobby, enter your name.
3. Click to indicate whether you are using headphones.

   IMPORTANT:
   If you haven't used Riverside before, click Request Camera Permissions so the browser can access your microphone and camera. Click Allow.

4. From the video preview on the right side of the page, use the dropdown menus to select a camera, microphone, and audio output.
5. Click Join studio.
   

Troubleshooting

• I don’t see my camera in the menu of the Lobby or Studio
• I don’t see my microphone in the menu of the Lobby or Studio
• ‘Connecting…’ button in the Lobby is stuck, never turns into ’Join Studio’
