Your internet speed does not impact the local High Quality Track you record when in the Studio. However, you must remain connected to the Studio to have the real-time conversation with other participants.
If you have trouble connecting, follow the steps below.
Troubleshooting
- Check your internet connection.
- Check your internet connection's stability for audio/video conferencing here.
-
Temporarily turn off any VPNs, browser extensions, content blockers, or firewalls.
-
Connect with an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi.
If You Get Disconnected from the Studio
- The other people in the Studio are not impacted and the recording continues.
- After you restore the connection, rejoin the Studio.
-
If the Host is disconnected, the recording continues.
-
If the Host does not return, Guests can click Leave to exit the Studio and finish uploading their own local track in the same browser window.
-
NOTE:
We recommend users have an upload speed faster than 5 Mbps (500,000 bits per second) to record.
The Host or a Producer can also enable Low Data Mode during the session if a participant's poor internet connection is disrupting the conversation.
