NOTE:
Someone who is not part of the shared account can still join its Studios as an invited Producer, Guest, or Audience member. Read more about Studio participant roles.
A Riverside for Business account can include members in four different roles. The roles determine the actions the users can take and the access they have, as outlined below.
Account Owner
The Account Owner can change the settings of the shared account, invite and remove users from the account and add and remove users in the account's Productions. They can create new Productions and access all the recordings of all Productions, as well as create new Studios, adjust Studio settings, and invite Studio participants. They can join a Studio in the Host or Producer role and use Riverside's online Editor.
There is only one seat available for one Account Owner in each Riverside for Business account.
Admin
The Admin can create new Productions and change a Production's settings, as well as create new Studios in any Production, adjust Studio settings, and invite Studio participants. Admins can add and remove users from Productions and access the recordings of Productions they are assigned to by the Account Owner. If allowed by the Account Owner, Admins can also invite additional users. They can join a Studio in the Host or Producer role and use Riverside's online Editor function.
The total seats available for Admins varies based on the account details.
Director
The Account Owner or an Admin assigns a Director to one or more Productions. In the assigned Production/s, the Director can create new Studios, adjust Studio settings, and invite Studio participants. If enabled in the account settings, the Director can also create new Productions and adjust a Production's settings. They can join a Studio in the Host or Producer role and use Riverside's online Editor function.
The total seats available for Directors varies based on the account details.
Editor
The Account Owner, Admin, or Director assigns an Editor to one or more Productions. The Editor can view and download the Studio recordings of those Productions, as well as use Riverside's online Editor function.
There is no limit to the number of Editor seats in a shared plan.
