Can I use 'Log in with Google' or 'Log in with Apple' with the Riverside Android app?

The Riverside Android app supports using a Riverside account with an email address and password. If you usually use a Google Account ('Log in with Google') or your Apple ID ('Log in with Apple') in your computer browser and need to join a Studio as a Host with your Android device, first disconnect the Google Account or the Apple account. Then reset your password to create a new one.

With the release of the Riverside iOS app version 2.1.1 on 11 June 2022, the iOS app supports logging in using a Riverside account, a Google Account, or your Apple ID.

Step by step:

  1. Disconnect the Google Account / Disconnect the Apple Account
You will still use the same email address associated with your Google/Apple account to log in to Riverside.

  2. Reset the Riverside password for the email address.
This creates a new, dedicated Riverside password.

You can use your mobile device to join a Studio as a Guest without logging in. Read more.

For functions like the sidebar chat and sharing your screen, use a computer to join the Studio. More Studio functions of the Host and Producer are available on a computer than on a mobile device.
