Turn Off Logitech Webcam's Auto-Exposure in Logi Tune

Some Logitech webcams have an auto-exposure feature that can adjust the camera's light sensitivity for you. However, changes in the video's light levels can be distracting during a recording. In low light, the automatic adjustments can also reduce the video's frame rate. Follow the steps below to turn off auto-exposure in Logi Tune Desktop software.

IMPORTANT:
Riverside records video from Logitech 4K cameras at up to 1080p resolution to ensure high frame rates. This maximum resolution only affects the Studio participant/s using a Logitech camera.

Step by step:

  1. Download and install the Logi Tune Desktop software.
  2. Connect the Logitech webcam to the computer.
  3. Open Logi Tune.
  4. Click My Devices.
  5. Click the desired webcam.
  6. Click the Video tab.
  7. Click Color Adjustment.
  8. Click the toggle to turn off Auto exposure.
TIP:
For best results, leave Logi Tune running during recording sessions on Riverside.
