If you are recording on a computer and your camera's frame rate drops or it doesn't match the frame rate of other Studio participants, try one or more of the steps below to correct it.
NOTE:
You may need to start recording again after fixing the frame rate.
Suggested Troubleshooting Steps
- Turn off your camera's auto-exposure feature. For example, if using a Logitech webcam, change this setting using Logi Tune Desktop.
- Close other tabs and programs that may be using your computer's processing power. Make sure your browser is the active and 'in-focus' program.
- If using an external camera, confirm that is connected directly to your computer and not through a USB hub.
-
If using a laptop, connect it to a power source instead of battery-only.
- Record with a brighter lighting setup. A camera may reduce its frame rate to adapt to low light.
- Reduce the camera's default recording resolution.
- Reduce the default recording quality (maximum resolution) of the Studio.
If none of the above steps correct the frame rate, consider using a different camera or joining the Studio from a different device.
TIP:
For stable recording in high resolution, we recommend using a DSLR camera and a video capture card.
