Automatically switch video tracks by speaker in Editor

Riverside's dynamic layouts change the primary video track depending on who is speaking. Use the grid view to show all the participants at all times.

For the duration of a screen share, media board video, or shared presentation track, its video will be the primary frame.

Step by step

  1. On a computer, log in to your Riverside account.
  2. In the ☰ menu on the left, click the relevant Studio.
  3. Click the relevant recording.
  4. In the top right corner, click Edit and choose + Create new edit.
Or scroll to Edits and click a Draft or magic-spark-icon.svg Magic Clip.
  1. On the Editor's toolbar, click grid-classic.svg Layout.
  2. Choose between a static grid or dynamic layouts.
