Troubleshooting: Fix Black Video Frame in Studio

In the Studio, if you or a participant have selected a camera for video input but the video frame appears black or blank, follow the troubleshooting steps below to fix it before you record.

Step by step:

  1. Close the Riverside browser tab and rejoin the Studio.
  2. Check whether the video error is fixed.
    If not, continue below.

  3. In the Studio, select a different camera (if another one is connected).
  4. Check whether the video error is fixed.
    If not, follow the steps on Change Browser's Hardware Acceleration Setting.
