« To Studio settings: Recording
By default, Riverside records both audio and video in the studio. To record only participants' audio, follow the steps below.

Before a studio session

Log in to your Riverside account.
If you have multiple studios, select the relevant studio. - From the sidebar on the left, click Settings.
- From the tabs at the top, click Recording.
- Next to Recording mode, select either Video & audio or Audio.

During a studio session
- Using a computer, join a studio as the host or as a producer.
- At the top right of the page, click the Settings icon.
If you're using the Mac app, the app opens your settings in a browser window. - Next to Recording type, select either Video & audio or Audio.
A participant with their camera on can still be seen during the live recording when you record in audio-only mode.
When you finish recording:
- You receive high quality separate audio tracks for each participant and the video tracks of any media shared during the recording, including screen shares, media board videos, and presentations.
- You can edit the audio recording in the editor, along with the video of shared media.
- You receive the back-up cloud recording of the live studio session, which includes both the audio and video of exactly what you saw in the Riverside studio during the recording session.
