Live call-in to join the studio and record as an audience member

Directly participate in the conversation you're watching on screen by joining the live studio!

As an audience member, you can request to join the live recording if you're on a computer using Chrome or Edge by following the steps below. 

If your request is accepted, you join the host live on screen and are recorded. You can ask questions, share your thoughts, and take part in the conversation.

Step by step

  1. On your computer using Chrome or Edge, join the studio as an audience member.
  2. Once the recording starts, click Request live call-in.
  3. Click Request Camera Permissions and Allow in the pop-up, so the browser can access your microphone and camera.
  4. In the Request to join window, choose your microphone, camera, and audio output.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. In the pop-up, in the corresponding fields, enter your name, the question or reason you'd like to join the live session, and indicate if you're wearing headphones.

  7. Click Start live call to send the request.
    The host sees your name and message and can choose to accept or deny your request.
    • To cancel your request, click the hangup-button_rnd.svg hang up icon.
    • If the host accepts your request, you immediately enter the studio and are live on screen. Everyone in the studio and watching the live stream can see and hear you. You're also recorded.
    • If the host rejects your request, you remain in the audience and continue to watch the session. You can submit additional call-in requests.
  8. Click leave Leave to leave the studio and stop your recording.
    The host may also remove you from the session. Once you leave, you're redirected back to the audience so you can continue to watch the live stream.

While you're in the live recording, you can turn off/on your camera by clicking camera-video-recorder.svg Cam or mute/unmute yourself by clicking microphone-02.svg Mic. You can also change your audio output (speaker) and share your screen.
