Start and stop recordings

The studio's host starts and stops each new recording.

After you click Record, all participants see a five-second countdown, then the Host and Guests who have their mic/camera enabled are recorded. The Record button shows the running time of the current recording.

Device: Computer browser, mobile app, or MacOS app

Follow the steps below based on if you're using a computer or your mobile device.

Start and stop recordings using a computer browser or MacOS app
Only hosts can start and stop the recording when using the MacOS app. Producers can start and stop the recording only when using a browser.
1. Join a studio session as the host or producer.
2. At the bottom of the studio, click the Record button.
3. Click the button again to Stop the recording.
  To see the recording, click View recordings.
Start and stop recordings using the mobile app
Only hosts can start and stop the recording when using the mobile app. Producers can start and stop the recording only when using a browser.
1. Download and launch Riverside mobile app.
2. Sign in to the mobile app and join a studio as the host.
3. Tap the Record button at the top of the screen.
4. Tap the button again to Stop the recording.
5. To see the recording, tap View recording.
