Remove Background Noise in Studio

Who: Host and Producers
Plan: All Plans
Device: Computer Browser

Enable the Studio's background noise reduction to minimize sounds like a participant's loud computer fan or air conditioner. The filter is applied to both to live the Studio audio and to all participants' recorded tracks to reduce the high and low frequencies outside the range of vocal speech.

We reccomend enabling Remove background noise, unless all participants are in a soundproofed environment.

In the Recording Studio

  1. Join a Studio as the Host or as a Producer.
  2. Stop the current recording.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, click people.svg People to open the sidebar.
  4. Under Recording Overview, click the toggle next to Remove background noise.
The next recording uses the new setting for all participants.

Outside the Recording Studio

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Under Studios, click the relevant Studio.
  3. On the left, click Settings.
  1. In the Recording section, scroll to mic-solid.svg Participant audio recording.
  2. Next to Remove background noise, click the toggle.
The next recording uses the new setting for all participants.
