Export an edit, clip, or media file

After editing your recording or media, export it to download and easily share the content. Follow the steps below to export the edited recording or a media clip.

  • Steps on a computer

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
    3. In the top right corner of the Editor, click Export.
    4. In the Export Options panel, click Video or Audio, and choose other file preferences.
    5. Click Export.
    6. Click Keep editing to continue making changes to a new copy
      or click Go to exports.
      After the export finishes, download, share, or publish it from the recording page.
      If more than 7 days have past since exporting a recording, and you are unable to download the file, repeat the steps above. 

    You receive an email when the media is ready to download. In a Riverside for Business account, only the team member who exported the media receives the email.

  • Steps on a phone

    1. Open a recording from the Riverside mobile app.
    2. Tap the Icon.svg  Export icon.
    3. In the Export panel:
      Choose between Video or Audio
      Select Video quality
      Toggle Hide watermark to remove the watermark from the exported video.
      Toggle Remove background noise to reduce unwanted background noise.
      Toggle Normalize audio levels to balance sound levels.
    4. Tap Export Video at the bottom of the screen.
    5. To continue making changes, tap Keep editing to create a new copy, or tap Back to recordings to return to the project.
      After the export is complete, you can download, share, or publish it.
