Editor (Overview)

With just a few clicks, you can use Riverside's built-in Editor to open your recording and create a polished final video of your full recording session or cut short excerpts from it.

  1. Split and Trim Timeline
Drag the boundaries on the timeline to adjust the start and endpoint of your draft clip. Use this to create shorter highlights or remove unwanted footage from the beginning and end of the recording. Read more about trimming the timeline.

  2. Customize Design
Use this toolbar to rearrange the layout of the participants’ video tracks or only use their audio, change a clip's aspect ratio, add a background graphic, or add a custom logo.

  3. Add Intro and Outro
Add media to the start or end of a clip, such as a pre-recorded intro, a highlight teaser, or even another exported clip.
  4. Export
Click Export to prepare the recording file for download or publish it to another platform.
When you export, you can change the video resolution or add optional sound processing like normalizing audio or removing background noise.

Edits and changes you make to a draft clip, including renaming it, are saved automatically. On the recording session's dashboard, Duplicate a draft or exported clip to edit another version of it.
