Publish audio episode and transcript on Transistor

« To Riverside integrations: Overview

You can publish audio recordings and its transcript to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts directly from Riverside via Transistor, a podcast distribution platform.

Follow the steps below to publish your recording from Riverside directly to Transistor.

Step by step

1. On a computer, log in to your Riverside account.
2. Click the relevant project.
3. On the project recording's page, scroll to the Edits section.

5. Click on an edit with an Exported label to open the publish page.
   • If you do not have an exported edit, export one.
6. Under the video preview, click the Transistor logo.
7. Type in an episode title and click Export.
8. On Transistor's Import page, select a show to import to in the dropdown menu.
   
9. Click Import and create draft episode.
10. On the Episode Settings page, update your preferred settings.
11. To publish the audio with the transcript, on the same Episode Settings page, scroll down to the Episode Transcripts section (optional).
    1. Click Choose File.
    2. Choose the transcript (TXT) file you downloaded from Riverside.
       File must be .txt, .vtt, or .srt format.
    3. Click Open.
12. Click Update saved draft.
13. Schedule a publish date or click Save and publish now.

• If you are uploading your episode transcript to Apple Podcasts, be sure to go to the transcript settings and check Display transcripts I provide, or auto-generate transcripts by Apple if one isn’t provided.
