Each time you record a session in the Riverside studio, it creates three kinds of media recordings:
-
High Quality Tracks: Files recorded locally on each participant's computer or device. These separate files are best for using with editing software. Read more.
-
Internet Backups: Files recorded live on the internet. The audio and video quality of these recordings depend on each participant's internet connection. Read more.
-
Clips and Combined Recording: The high quality track files are combined into a single media file using Riverside's Editor. Export clips of any length, from short excerpts to the full session. Read more.
TIP:
A new draft clip is created automatically at each Marker you add while recording.
