Some live streaming platforms require you to manually initiate the livestream on their interface to go live. This means that clicking Go live in Riverside won't automatically make your session live on these platforms.
Good to know
- You can set up multiple custom RTMP connections in your studio.
- RTMP connections appear in the list of all of your connected destination platforms inside your studio. Make sure the toggle is in the on position
before streaming.
- The connection stays in your list of destination platforms, however we recommend connecting with a new Stream Key and URL every time you want to stream to make sure your connection remains unbroken.
-
Scheduled livestreams are not supported for custom RTMP.
