Live stream your Riverside recording session to LinkedIn to reach a broader audience. You can also schedule a live stream for later.

We are gradually releasing updates to live stream features. If you see Status=Disabled, Hover=Yes (1).png at the top of your studio, scroll to the bottom of the article for the beta version steps.

Step by step

  1. Using a computer, sign in to your LinkedIn account.
  2. Go to the LinkedIn Live page .
  3. Under New Stream, select Go live now.
  4. Under Create a post on the left, enter a description and stream Title.
  5. On the right, under the Stream settings tab, choose a nearby region. LinkedIn_Go-Live-Now-Preview-01.png
  6. Click Get URL.
  7. Copy the Stream URL and the Stream Key.
    • You must generate a new Stream Key for LinkedIn each time you do a live stream or refresh the page.
  8. Paste each in the Riverside Studio's settings under LinkedIn.
  9. For all sites you do not plan to stream to, click the toggle off toggle-off-grey_36x24.svg .
  10. In the Studio Settings, in the General section, set the Studio privacy to Public.
  11. In the Riverside Studio, click Record to start the live stream.
  12. Check the LinkedIn Live page for the Preview of the video stream.
  13. In the top right corner of LinkedIn, click Go live to share the post with the live stream.
    It takes about 20 seconds for the video to appear on LinkedIn.


Step by step - beta version

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the Studio, and click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click Go to Studio.
  4. On the Lobby page, enter your details and click Join Studio.
  1. At the top of the Studio, click Live Stream off.
  2. Under Stream to social, click the LinkedIn icon.
  3. In the Connect your LinkedIn account pop-up, choose LinkedIn profile or LinkedIn page.
  4. In the new window, sign in to your LinkedIn account.
  5. Click Allow.
  6. On the Choose your LinkedIn profile page, choose your LinkedIn account. 
  7. Click Done.
  8. In the Riverside Studio, add the relevant live stream social media post details
  9. Click Go live to start the live stream.
