Live stream your Riverside recording session on Twitch to reach a broader audience.

Please note:

We are gradually releasing updates to live stream features. If you see Status=Disabled, Hover=Yes (1).png at the top of your studio, scroll to the bottom of the article for the beta version steps.

Step by step

  1. Using a computer, log in to your Twitch account.
  2. Go to the Stream Manager: https://dashboard.twitch.tv/stream-manager.
  3. In the menu under Creator Dashboard, click Settings.
  4. Select Stream.
  5. Under Stream Key and Preferences, click Copy to get the Primary Stream key. 
  6. Paste the Primary Stream key in the Live Stream settings of your Riverside Studio.
  7. Copy and paste this address as the Stream URL: rtmp://live.twitch.tv/app/.
  8. In the Riverside Studio, start recording to begin the live stream feed.Live_Stream_to_Twitch-Twitch-Settings

 

Step by step - beta version

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the Studio, and click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click Go to Studio.
  4. On the Lobby page, enter your details and click Join Studio.
  1. At the top of the Studio, click Live Stream off.
  2. Under Stream to social, click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click the Twitch icon.

  4. In the new window, log in to your Twitch account.
  5. Under Riverside.fm wants to access your account, click Authorize.
  6. Click Done.
  7. Add the relevant live stream social media post details
  8. Click Go live to start the live stream.
