Live stream your Riverside recording session to your Facebook Timeline profile to reach a broader audience. You can also live stream to a Facebook page, Facebook group or Facebook Live Video Event.

Please note:

We are gradually releasing updates to live stream features. If you see Status=Disabled, Hover=Yes (1).png at the top of your studio, scroll to the bottom of the article for the beta version steps.

Step by step

  1. Using a computer, log in to Facebook.
  2. Go to the Facebook homepage.
  3. Under What's on your mind?, click Live Video.
  4. Under Go live, click Select.
  5. On the left side of the Create live video page, choose where and when to post.
  6. On the right of the page, Add post details.
  7. Under Select a Video Source, click Streaming software.
  8. Under Stream key, click Copy.
  9. Paste the Stream key in the Live Stream settings of your Riverside Studio.
  10. Return to Facebook and click Advanced Settings to display the Server URL.
  11. Next to Server URL, click Copy.
  12. Paste the Server URL in the Live Stream settings of your Riverside Studio as Stream URL.
  13. In the Riverside Studio, start recording to start the live stream feed.


Step by step - beta version

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the Studio, and click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click Go to Studio.
  4. On the Lobby page, enter your details and click Join Studio.
  1. At the top of the Studio, click Live Stream off.
  2. Under Stream to social, click the facebook-circle.svg Facebook icon.
  3. In the Connect your Facebook account pop-up, choose Facebook profile.
  4. Click Continue with Facebook.
  5. Log in to Facebook.
  6. Click connect.
  7. Under Connect your Facebook profile, choose the profile to connect to Riverside.
  8. Click Got it.
  9. Click Go live to start the live stream.
