Each person in a recording session joins the Studio with a specific role: Host, Guest, Producer, or Audience member. The participants have different abilities in the Studio depending on their role.
Host
The Host is recorded, manages each session, and can change all of a Studio's settings.

Guests
Guests are recorded in the Studio and can adjust their own audio and video settings.

Producers
Producers are not recorded, but they are seen by other participants, support the Host and Guests, and can change most Studio settings.

Audience members can watch but are not recorded unless granted permission during a Live Call-In.

- A Host can join a Studio with a computer, the iOS app, or Android app.
- Guests can join a Studio with their computer, the iOS app, or Android app to record.
- Producers can join a Studio with their computer for full functionality or with the iOS app or Android app to monitor the session.
- Audience members can join a Studio with their computer to watch a recording session (and even request to be recorded during a Live Call-In) or use the iOS app or Android app to watch a recording session.
