Set recording settings in the studio
Change recording type (audio only or audio & video) - By default, Riverside records both audio and video in the studio. You can set the settings to record only audio.
Remove background noise in studio (enable noise reduction) - Turn this setting on to minimize background sounds, like a participant's loud computer fan or air conditioner, while recording in the studio and in the final recording file.
Change audio sample rate in the studio - Riverside's default audio sample rate is 44.1 kHz. You can change to record at 48 kHz instead.
Change default resolution in the studio - The standard resolution of recorded video tracks in the studio is 720p HD. If you or a participant use a camera that can record 1080p (HD) or 2160p (4K) resolution video, increase your studio's maximum resolution to match it.
Change video frame rate in the studio - By default, Riverside records at 24 FPS. Change the studio to record video tracks at 25 FPS or 29.97 FPS on a computer.
Set default transcription language - Riverside uses AI to transcribe your recording. By default, it transcribes conversations in English, but you can change this to the language spoken in your studio.
Remove audience count in the studio - Choose whether to display the total number of audience members watching the live recording session to your guests and audience members. By default, anyone in the studio can see the audience count.
Turn off recording countdown - By default, when the recording begins, each participant sees a 5-second countdown before the recording starts. Toggle this off in the studio's settings to hide the countdown timer when you click record.
Auto-start the recording - Let Riverside start the recording automatically as soon as a guest joins the studio, so you don't have to click record.
