Generate animated clip

Turn you and your guest into an animated video in just a few clicks. You’ll receive an email once it’s ready, and from there, you can edit it like any other clip.

Step by step

• Animate an edit

  1. On a computer, log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Click the relevant project.
  3. Create an edit that:
     

     • does not include screen shares or Media Board tracks

     • was recorded on Riverside (not an external upload)
     • is under 90 seconds
     • has a maximum of 2 participant tracks with one track per participant.

       • If your recording includes more than two participants, you can remove participant tracks so that only two remain. This will make the edit eligible for animation.

  4. From the project page, scroll to the Edits section.

  5. Hover over the relevant edit.

  6. In the top right corner, click the Animate icon.

  7. Select an animation preset style.

  8. At the bottom of the screen, click Generate Animation.

  9. To return to the project page, click OK.

     Your original edit remains unchanged. 

  10. Check your email for a message from notifications@riverside.fm with the subject Your animation is ready 🎉
  11. Open the email and click View clip.
      You are redirected the the project page.
  12. Use the Riverside editor to make further adjustments.

• Animate a Magic Clip

  1. On a computer, log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Click the relevant project.
  3. From the project page, scroll to the Magic Clips section.

  4. Hover over the relevant Magic Clip.

  5. In the top right corner, click the Animate icon.

  6. Select an animation preset style.

  7. At the bottom of the screen, click Generate Animation.

  8. To return to the project’s recording page, click OK.

     Your original Magic Clip remains unchanged. 

  9. Check your email for a message from notifications@riverside.fm with the subject Your animation is ready 🎉
  10. Open the email and click View clip.
      You are redirected the the project page.
