Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- From the editor toolbar, click AI producer.
- Next to Find fluff, click Suggest.
On the transcript, AI suggestions are underlined and appear asAI comment icons on the right side, aligned with the corresponding text.
On the timeline, AI suggestions appear aspurple bubbles above the relevant spot.

If you think the suggestion is a good one, click Apply.
The AI comment is removed and the highlighted text is deleted.
Edit an AI suggestion
Suggestions appear in a comment. Follow the process below to edit the comment accompanying the underlined text.
- In the comment panel, next to AI producer, click ••• [the three dots].
- Click Edit.
- Edit your text.
- Click Save.
Reply to an AI suggestion
When you reply to an AI suggestion, your response is added as part of a comment thread, keeping all related discussions grouped together.
- Under the AI suggestion comment, type in your reply.
- Click Reply.
Delete an AI suggestion
Deleting an AI suggestion thread permanently removes the entire thread, including all replies. Deleted threads cannot be recovered.
- On the top right of the comment panel, click ••• [the three dots].
- Click Delete thread.
- Click Remove.
Copy link to an AI suggestion
- On the top right of the comment panel, click ••• [the three dots].
- Click Copy link to comment.
The link to the comment is copied to your clipboard.
Business users can copy and share a link to a specific comment to direct a team member to a particular point in the discussion and resolve feedback more efficiently.
Non-business users cannot invite others to collaborate directly within Riverside, but they can copy comments for note-taking, tracking progress, or future reference.
