Joining a studio session from an organization with a firewall

To ensure that your connection to Riverside isn't blocked by your organization's firewall, please review the following steps before the session:

  1. Before the session starts, run a connectivity test to check if everything is working properly.
    • If you see a red indicator next to Signal Connection or Media Connection, it's likely that a firewall is blocking the connection.
  2. If you are using an institutional or corporate firewall or have other security protocols on your network, only your organization's IT team can resolve this issue by whitelisting Riverside. 

  3. If the firewall continues to block Riverside despite all adjustments, try joining the session using a personal device (laptop or mobile phone) on a different network, like your home Wi-Fi or mobile data. This bypasses the organizational firewall entirely.
