Sync Riverside data to HubSpot

Easily sync your event's registration data to HubSpot via the registrants list. You can later use this information to segment your contacts in HubSpot.

Please note:
This feature is in beta and is being released gradually to Riverside users.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.

  2. From the left sidebar, click Scheduled.
    The details of your upcoming scheduled studio sessions appear.

  3. To the right of the relevant scheduled session, click the users-edit.svg Registrants list icon.

  4. In the Registrants section, click the Icon (5).svg Sync to HubSpot icon.

How does data sync from Riverside to Hubspot?

  • If the contact already exists in HubSpot (based on the email address), the data will be synced to the existing contact record rather than creating a duplicate.
  • First and last name fields in Riverside map directly to HubSpot's default Name contact property.
  • Country, Email, and Phone Number fields in Riverside are synced to their corresponding default contact properties in HubSpot.

  • Riverside Event Name is added as a custom contact property titled Last Event Name (Riverside).
    If a contact participates in multiple events, only the most recent event name will be displayed.
  • Event Date and Time details are added as a custom contact property titled Last Event Time (Riverside).
    If a contact participates in multiple events, only the date and time of the most recent event     will be displayed.
    • Every time a contact signs up for a new event, the Last Event Name (Riverside) and Last Event Time (Riverside) contact properties will change in HubSpot.

  • Contact's Riverside activity is recorded in a custom contact property titled Last Status (Riverside).
    The property includes the values: "approved," "not approved," "attended," or "did not attend."

  • Riverside Text and Checkbox fields are added as custom contact properties in HubSpot.

  • For each Riverside event and registrant status (registered, attended, no-show) a static list is created in HubSpot.
