About download hours

« To Download and share your content: Overview

Download hours refer to the hours of high-quality individual tracks you have available to download per month, based on your subscription plan. Download these tracks to use on professional multi-track editing software.

The option to download individual tracks is available only if you have recorded less than the allotted amount of download hours on your account. For example, if you have a free account, which allows 2 hours of downloads, your option to download individual tracks made from any recording at any time disappears once you have recorded over 2 hours. You can view your lifetime recording hours at any time.

If you're looking to download more separate high-quality tracks, consider upgrading your plan.

Regardless of your subscription and hours used, you always have:

  1. Unlimited Recording Time: You can record without time constraints in the Riverside studio.
  2. Unlimited Editing: You can edit your recording as much as you'd like to create engaging content in the Riverside editor.
  3. Unlimited exports of high-quality recordings and clips: You can export as many high quality recordings and clips as you want (just not the separate tracks!).

  • Your monthly allowance for separate track downloads resets per month based on your billing cycle.
  • Unused hours of separate track downloads do not roll over from one month to the next.
  • The number of participants in the recording does not impact how many hours are used.
    • For example, recording 3 people in a 1-hour session uses 1 hour of your plan's recording hours.
  • Removing past recordings does not the increase hours available during a month.
  • Live streaming does count towards your download hours.
  • Downloading cloud recordings, exports, or clips made from uploaded media do not count towards your download hours.
