Recordings in Riverside are organized into projects in two ways, depending on when the feature was rolled out to you starting in August 2024:
-
Recordings made before Projects rollout: Riverside performs a one-time migration. During this process, recordings are grouped into projects based on:
-
When the recordings were made - recordings taken within approximately a 3-hour window in the same studio are grouped together in a project
AND - Who were in the recording sessions - the same group of people recording in that same studio are grouped together in a project
-
When the recordings were made - recordings taken within approximately a 3-hour window in the same studio are grouped together in a project
- Recordings made after Projects rollout: Organization is handled even more precisely. Recordings are grouped together in a project based on the real-time recording sessions that take place in the studio.
You can always move recordings between projects, create new projects, and rename projects to better suit your organizational needs.
