See number of viewers during live stream

See the total number of people watching the live stream based on the channels it's broadcasting to.

This is a great way to track the number of viewers in real time.

Who: Host, guests, producers, and audience members
Plan: All plans
Device: Computer browser

Step by step

  1. As a host or producer, start the live stream.
  2. At the top if the studio, click LIVE REC.
  3. Next to the channel you are streaming to, navigate to the people_users-03.svg people icon to see the total number of people currently watching the live stream on that channel.
    Note:
    You cannot see the total number of viewers watching on channels that are connected to Riverside using RTMP.

Guests and audience members 

Guests and audience members can see the total number of audience members watching. However, hosts and producers can disable this.

Guests view:

On the left side of the studio, click people_users-03.svg people. At the top of the People panel, see the number of people recording in studio and the number of people in the audience.

Audience members view:

At the top of the studio, next to the people_users-03.svg people icon, see the number of people in the audience.
