Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- At the start, end, or between any splits on the timeline, Click .
- Select Music.
Or Uploads to upload your own audio. - On the right side of the editor, in the Music Panel, hover over a selection in the Music Library.
- Click Play to preview.
- To the right of your selection, click to add it to your recording timeline.
A new segment with your music selection is added to the recording timeline.
Music you add to your recordings are saved under Recently used so you can easily find them again for your next project.
Edit, remove, or replace music on the timeline
You can change volume settings, replace, or remove the music you added to your timeline.
- Zoom in on the timeline.
- Cut the music on the timeline to start and stop at any point of the song (i.e. just play the chorus or a selected few seconds) by adjusting the start and end handles of the music overlay.
- Hover over the music timeline and click ••• [the three dots].
- Edit the music:
- Click Volume & effects to change volume settings.
Stay tuned: Fade in and fade out is coming soon! - Click Replace to make a different music selection.
- Click Remove to delete it from your timeline.
- Click Volume & effects to change volume settings.
You can add as many music tracks to your recording timeline as you'd like.
