Troubleshooting steps
Unverified user account
If you've recently changed the email address associated with your Riverside account, but did not verify your new email address, you are considered an unverified account and won’t be able to upload files or share recordings. To resolve this:
- Check your email for a message from notifications@riverside.fm with the subject Verify your new email address:
- Open the email and click Verify email address.
Unsupported file type
Ensure the file you’re trying to upload is in a supported format.
- See file requirements here: Supported external media file types and requirements.
Maximum file upload limit in the editor
When you upload media files directly to the editor, you can add up to 20 files of 100 MB each to the Your media folder.
- To add more than 20 files to an edit, upload the new media to your studio dashboard. Then, add that media to the editor's timeline using Add from library > Recordings.
