Schedule a YouTube Live to let your subscribers know ahead of time that you're going to live stream.

To live stream to YouTube, you must:
- Verify your channel. It can take 24 hours or more for YouTube to verify your account.
- Remove any live streaming restrictions on your account.
- Enable standard and intermediate features in your YouTube channel settings.
- Note the additional requirements for live streaming from a mobile device.
Step by step
- Connect your Riverside account to Youtube using custom RTMP.
You must use custom RTMP for this and not the direct YouTube connection. - Go to YouTube.
- In the top right, click the Camera+.
- Select Go Live.
- In the sidebar on the left, click Manage.
- In the upper right, click Schedule Stream.
- In the pop-up, enter in your live stream details and then click Next.
- Under Customization, tailor your live stream settings.
- Under the tab How do you want to go live?, select Streaming software.
- Under Visibility:
- select the date and time you want to go live.
- Select and who can see your stream (Privacy settings).
- Click Done.
- When it's time to live stream, go to your Riverside Studio and click Go Live.
- Go to YouTube and click Go Live.
It may take around 30 seconds for the video to appear on YouTube. View the stream by going to the scheduled event on your YouTube account.
