Live stream your Riverside recording session to audience members in Riverside. 

Please note:

We are gradually releasing updates to live stream features. If you see Status=Disabled, Hover=Yes (1).png at the top of your studio, scroll to the bottom of the article for the beta version steps.

Step by step 

  1. Set your Studio to public.
  2. Send an audience invite to share an audience link to the studio.
  3. Start the recording.
    • Once the recording begins, the audience sees the Host, Guests, and Producers in the Studio.
    • The Host, Guests, and Producers cannot see the audience members' videos. They can only see the number of audience members in the studio.
    • Audience members on a computer can write in the studio chat or request to join the call. If the Host or Producer accepts the live call request, the audience member's video will appear to everyone in the studio and they will be recorded.

 

Step by step - beta version

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. In the ☰ menu on the left, hover over the Studio, and click ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click Go to Studio.
  4. On the Lobby page, enter your details and click Join Studio.
  1. At the top of the Studio, click Live Stream off.
  2. Under Stream on Riverside, next to Public audience link, click the toggle to turn it on
    The toggle is purple when the public audience link is on toggle-on.svg.
  3. Under the Public audience link, copy the link or send an audience invite to share an audience link to the studio.
  4. Start the recording.
    • Once the recording begins, the audience sees the Host, Guests, and Producers in the Studio.
    • The Host, Guests, and Producers cannot see the audience members' videos. They can only see the number of audience members in the studio.
    • Audience members on a computer can write in the studio chat or request to join the call. If the Host or Producer accepts the live call request, the audience member's video will appear to everyone in the studio and they will be recorded.
