You can easily remove captions in the editor with a few simple clicks.

Steps on a computer
From the video frame
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- In the video frame, click on the caption text.
- Click the Remove icon to delete the caption.
This deletes all captions from the entire video.
From the Captions panel
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- To the right, click Captions to open the Captions panel.
- At the bottom of the caption options, click Remove Captions.
This deletes all captions from the entire video.

Steps on a phone
Currently, this feature is only available on the iOS app.
- Open a recording from the Riverside mobile app.
- In the video frame, tap the caption text.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap Remove to delete the caption.
This will delete all captions from the video.
Good to know
- To remove specific lines from your captions, change the caption text to spaces or another empty character.
