Steps to fix

Launch the Studio app directly from System Settings or you can adjust your security settings to allow your computer to run software from identified developers.

  1. In the system menu at the top of the screen, click the Apple logo.
  2. Choose System Settings.
  3. In the list on the left, click Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll down to Security.
  5. Look for "Riverside Studio.app" was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer.

  6. Click Open Anyway.
  7. If prompted, enter your system password.
  8. In the prompt, click Open.
    The Riverside Studio app opens.

To open the app in the future without needing to do the steps above, after step 4 choose:

Allow applications downloaded from: App store and identified developers
