« To Spotify for Podcasters integration: Overview
From Spotify for Podcasters' site, use Riverside's online Studio to record by yourself or with other participants remotely.
The Studio includes a media board, a field to keep notes on-screen, screen sharing, and more.
The steps below are for for Podcasters users.
Record
- Log in to podcasters.spotify.com with your Spotify for Podcasters account.
- Verify your email address with Spotify if you have not already.
- Click Create episode.
- Under Need to build an episode?, click Create with Riverside, then Let's Go.
Riverside loads in the same Spotify for Podcasters window. -
Sign up for a free Riverside account or log in to an existing Riverside account.
- You can also use your Spotify credentials, Google account, or AppleID to create a new account with Riverside.
- After logging in, under How do you want to Start?, click Record episode.
- Choose Record audio & video or Record audio only.
The Riverside Studio loads.
- Optional: Click Invite at the top of the page to create an invite link for Guests to join your Studio record with you.
- At the bottom, click Record to start or choose Run test recording to check your mic/camera.
- When you are finished recording, at the bottom, click the button to Stop.
- Optional: repeat steps 7 and 8 to record additional tracks.
- When the data finishes uploading, click Edit recording.
Riverside finishes processing your recording and opens it in the Editor.
Edit and Export

Edit using the transcript, add other recordings, and customize your design.
- At the top-right corner of the page, click Export.
- Under Export Options, choose the file type and other details, then click Export to Spotify.
When Riverside finishes processing your episode, Spotify for Podcasters' Episode Details page loads.
Publish
- On Spotify's Episode Details page, enter a Title, Episode description, Publish time, and other metadata.
- At the bottom right, click Next.
- Add an optional Q&A or poll, then click Next.
- Review the details, then click Publish / Schedule.
