Download transcript of edited recording

« To Transcriptions: Overview

After editing your media, you can download the transcription that reflects all of the edits you’ve made, including cuts, rearrangements, and text corrections, as well as the recording's timestamps.

You can also download the transcript of the full recording, without any edits.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
    • If you have already exported the recording, first copycopy.svg it and re-open it in the editor.
  1. After making the desired changes to the media, click ••• [the three dots] at the top of the transcript.
  2. On the menu, choose one of the following:
    • Download transcript (TXT) – for editing and repurposing the text
    • Download subtitles (SRT) – for caption playback
    • Copy transcript - to paste from your clipboard to a documentdownload-edited-transcript.png

Transcriptions are not generated for audio played from a screen share, files played on the media board, or footage uploaded directly to the editor.
